Feel the Shift

What if we could expand our expectation of what God is able to do! In Ephesians 3, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Our expectations will never be so great that God is not able to do more! The word expectation is often joined with anticipation. If we can expand our expectations then we can enlarge our anticipation. But we dare not think big or dream big because big thinking can lead to big failure! Then a big failure can lead to big embarrassment! Many people will say that they are just trying to stay humble. However, there is a huge difference in being humble and being too scared to try.
In 2 Corinthians 5, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone and the new is here! Start believing that God can transfer our problems into His promises! God can turn our setbacks into our comebacks! It is about making a shift in our lives from having religion to having a relationship with God. When we praise Him, we can feel shifting taking place! Every time we pray, we should expect a shift! Every time we teach and preach, we should expect a shift! Every time sing, we should expect a shift! Every time we give, we should expect a shift!
The Bible is full of people who God made a shift in their lives. Moses was on schedule to be the prince of Egypt but God hit the shift key and Moses became the leader of God’s people. David was expected to be just a shepherd boy but God pressed shift and David became a giant killer and the king of Israel. Saul was a persecutor of the early church but after a divine shift, Paul becomes the greatest missionary of the church. We may not even see it coming but get ready because God is about to shift things for us!
