Edisto Beach Marine Response rescues six stranded on Pine Island

The Edisto Beach Marine Response Team was key in rescuing six victims, four of which were children, stranded on Pine Island on April 6, 2015. They received minor cuts and abrasions and were taken to the Marina at Edisto Beach for treatment by Colleton County Emergency Management staff. The response time was just over one hour.
