Dantzler takes command of Naval Junior ROTC program

The Colleton County High School Naval Junior ROTC Unit conducted its annual awards night on April 23. The program is designed to recognize cadets for their dedicated service, outstanding performance of duty to the NJROTC Program, and their potential for leadership through the advancements, promotions, and special awards presented by local and state organizations.

Cadet Andrew Dantzler relieved Cadet Sylver Bowman as the Battalion Commander. The Battalion Executive Officer is Cadet Kayla Delooze; Company Commanders are Cadets Alexis McCorkle and Terion Scriven, and Company Executive Officers are Cadets Talil Battle and Christopher Turgeon.

Cadets Christian Beasley and Terion Scriven are the armed and unarmed drill commanders, respectively. Cadet Dallas Lyons is the color guard event commander, and Andrew Dantzler is the competition color guard commander. Cadet Alexis McCorkle is the academic team commander, Dylan Davis is the orienting team commander, Marlin Bishop is the rifle team commander, and Satiro Williams-Stokes is the athletic team commander.

Cadet Daniel O’Brien is the supply officer, Justice Riley is the administration officer, Daequan Kinsey is the chaplain, Matthew Sawyer is the drug and alcohol officer, Michael Lancaster is the First Lieutenant, Michael Lewis is the safety officer, and Edsicie Coaxum is the public affairs officer.

Cadet platoon commanders are Christian Beasley, Justice Riley, Tremyiah Salley, and Ethan Smallwood. Cadet mustering chief petty officers are Storm Hadwin, Cody Munro, Tamara Henderson, and Pedro Escobedo. The battalion operations officer is Cadet Shaun Hendrickson, and the company chief petty officers are Cadets Richardo Paez and Alex Delooze.
