Colleton County Clemson Extension celebrates Arbor Day

The Colleton County Clemson Extension Office celebrated Arbor Day on Monday, December 7, 2015 by giving away a variety of trees. The tree giveaway was held in conjunction with the Colleton County Master Gardener Association’s monthly Brown Bag Lunch. One hundred and fifty trees were given out to residents of Colleton County. Clemson Extension Horticultural Agent and Master Gardener Program Coordinator Laura Lee Rose lead discussions and answered questions on gardening, horticulture, and plant problems.
The next Brown Bag Lunch session is being held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at noon, in Room 222 of the Colleton County Clemson Extension Office. The topic for discussion will be “Gardening in winter.” The Clemson Extension Office is located at 611 Black Street (Bernard Warshaw Office Building).
