Perry Senior Care Available in South Carolina

Perry Senior Care, originally located in Savannah, Georgia, now has a satellite operation in South Carolina. Currently the organization has 5 employees and provides services for 5 seniors. The staff provides homemaker aids, resources and assistance to families in need of extra in-home care for their loved ones.

Katina Perry is owner and executive director of Perry Senior Care, in which she established in 2014. Perry grew up in Savannah, GA attending Chatham county public schools and graduating from Hershel V. Jenkins High School in 1997. She received her Associates of Science in paralegal studies from South University wanting to become a probation officer, to make a impact in her local community and underprivileged youth. However, Perry became a lead paralegal in criminal defense for Sage Brown and Associates, P.C.

Perry moved to Florida, following her passion for making a difference to help at-risk youth. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from St. Leo University in 2006. This led her back to Savannah becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She took responsibility of advocating for juvenile victims of domestic abuse and neglect embellish their quality of life-children, who would otherwise, not have a voice. She also began teaching troubled youth in math and history at an alternative school in Chatham County.

In 2009, Perry received her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix. She moved to Ridgeland, SC and became a Behavior Modification Specialist at the local elementary schools in 2015. She provided behavior therapy counseling services in conjunction with establishing pharmacotherapy.

Perry encountered a turn of events in 2013, when her grandmother suffered an unfortunate cerebral vascular accident that cause her to need non-medical skilled care. Perry at the time was between jobs and took the liberty of caring for her grandmother. Her dedication and compassion for the elderly and her love for people led her to start caring for geriatric patients in a nonmedical setting.
