As I told the players sometimes this happens and all you can do is just keep playing and wait for it to balance out.” They were lead again by Ware, who scored 15 and had 15 rebounds, and Langley Harter who scored 12 points and 4 steals. The Lady War Hawks finished their week on Friday, January 26th as they faced John Paul II at their second away match for the week. The final score for the game was CPA 37 to JP 40, as Ware shot a 3 pointer that fell shy of taking her team into overtime. “Our Region has 4 of the top 6 teams in 2A classification and we sit at 12 in the classification,” Coach Brown said, “Every game is a battle as the teams are pretty much even. We are the youngest team in the Region and we are getting better every day. We are preparing for the play offs and believe we will be a tough out for anyone.” An injury kept Ware from her usual top scorer position, but she was able to score 3 points during the game and had 16 rebounds. The Lady War Hawks were led by Langley Harter during the game who scored 16 points and had 6 steals, followed by Anne Griffin Carter who scored 12 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds.
