It’s easy to believe in God when everything is great. But what happens when the doctor doesn’t give a clean bill of health or the child that you have been blessed with has health problem? In Exodus 2, Moses’ mother was faced with a difficult decision because it was against the law for her to keep her son so she placed him in a basket in the river and trusted God. How did she keep Moses hidden for so long? God had a plan for his people to be set free and God was going to use this little boy named Moses.

Moses’ mother believed in a God who was greater than Pharaoh. God is bigger than any Pharaoh you will ever face. He’s bigger than the Pharaoh of financial hardship, family friction or peer pressure. Sometimes we have to put everything in God’s basket and trust Him. The same river intended to kill Moses was the means of his salvation. What the enemy meant for evil, God means for good. Never underestimate the power God has given you and never shrink from your responsibility in letting God shine in your life. God can still make a way when there seems to be no way!

Tough times never last but tough people do. Psalms 30:5 says Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. This life is a series of new beginnings so it’s never too late. Try this- Stop staring at the wall but begin opening the door to a new beginning. Also, begin starting over even when you don’t feel like it. You don’t need to wait for your health to fail to find God or wait to get old before you find God. Make a decision to follow Christ- Now!
